How do I care for my eyelash extensions?

Many lash stylists have different home care tips and tricks for their customers, but the most widely accepted and used home care tips are as follows:

1. Cleanse with an oil-free lash cleanser recommended by your lash artist. My favorite is Chrissanthie Eye Cleanser

2. Brush your eyelashes daily (only when dry) to keep them looking fresh and separated.

3. Treat your lashes with care. Do not touch, pick or pull on your lash extensions. The oil from your fingers can cause them to fall out. Picking or pulling can cause damage to your natural lashes.

4. Avoid using eye makeup, but if you must, use oil-free, extension-approved liner and mascara. My personal favorites are Grande Lash Mascara and Lash Affair Liquid Extension Safe Liner.

5. Avoid excessive heat and steam (ie hot yoga or sauna), but if you must continue make sure you cleanse your eye area after each session.
