Debunking Eyelash Extensions Myths
Over the past few years, eyelash extensions have gotten a bad rap and many top leaders in the lash industry are now on a mission to share the truth behind eyelash extensions and why they are actually safe and non-damaging to your lashes!
So, let's set the record straight, beginning with the top 3 myths we've heard about eyelash extensions.
Myth #1: Eyelash Extensions damage your natural lashes.
Fact: Eyelash Extensions do not damage your natural lashes when applied properly - 1 to 2mm away from the natural lash line on one individual natural lash to ensure that the natural lashes continue to grow and shed normally.
Myth #2: Eyelash Extensions are heavy.
Fact: Nope! A trained eyelash extension artist will ensure that you receive the correct length and thickness according to what your natural lashes can handle.
Myth #3: Eyelash Extensions look fake and like I'm wearing spider legs!
Fact: Listen, we've all seen it. The girl at the restaurant, the lady in the checkout line, or at our kids' friends' birthday party. You can definitely achieve the spider leg look with mascara and strip lashes, but good quality eyelash extensions will look natural and should only accentuate your already beautiful features, spider legs not included ;)
